BEFORE YOU GO
Our renowned Thai cultural orientation training is included in the Volunteer Thailand Program. The cultural orientation course is an action-packed week designed to help participants ease into Thai culture and society through in-class lectures, and several cultural excursions including:
- Muay Thai training (Thai martial arts)
- Visit to an elephant foundation
- Visit to a local pineapple farm
- Visit a local temple, receive a blessing, and learn about Buddhism from a monk

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Volunteer’s primary task will be to teach English in the communities they are placed. Locations may include a local school, a monastery, an orphanage, or even at community centers. Responsibilities may vary quite a bit depending on your location and the opportunities within the community.
We encourage our volunteers to do more than just teach English. In the past, we have even had volunteers share and teach other useful skills such as music, dance, sports, tech and more! If you have a special talent, or hobby, don’t be shy, use it while you’re volunteering!
