XploreAsia is looking for qualified interns to join our marketing, program coordination, and placement team. All of our teams work together to expand our business in various areas under the umbrella of adventure and multicultural work and travel. We seek interns with educational and/or work experience in business, sales, marketing, web development & IT, and/or hospitality & tourism. We are looking for interns who aren’t scared of working in a fast-paced, fun team environment, and who can participate in programs and initiatives dealing with global and local marketing, and client management.

Advice for Future Interns

Department Duties

Our XploreAsia team is divided into three departments which undergo various tasks in providing teachers with a seem-less introduction to Thailand, an internationally accredited TESOL course and a thorough, personalized placement process coupled with extensive aftercare support. 

Marketing Department

  • Support marketing department initiatives, strategies, tactics, projects, and events 
  • Assist in the development, distribution and delivery of marketing materials
  • Analyze competitor marketing efforts
  • Implement new marketing initiatives on the website
  • Make recommendations for website improvement
  • Support social media efforts
  • Explore ways of improving existing products and service

Programs Department

  • Maintain internal files and databases
  • Promote attractions and events to clients
  • Organize cultural events for incoming participants
  • Work with clients to prepare all documents before arrival 
  • Attend meetings and events as scheduled

Placements Department

  • Provide logistical information for participant placement options
  • Prepare placement spreadsheets for clients before arrival 
  • Conduct interviews with participants concerning placement opportunities  
  • Send teacher proposals to schools and agents  
  • Ensure participants are content with school placement
  • Attend meetings and events as scheduled

Program Overview 

Interns will be expected to engage and contribute to ongoing work projects, and participate in regular staff meetings and events at the workplace. Interns will have a direct supervisor to help train and mentor them, and to provide necessary guidance and feedback throughout the course of the internship.

Program Expectations & Inclusions

  • Five day work week (08:30 – 17:30)
  • Weekly stipend – 1250 Thai Baht
  • 12 week minimum stay (extendable)
  • Accommodation included (not including utilities & deposit)
  • Monthly intake dates
